２０１３年6月、習近平中国国家主席はオバマ米国大統領と米国カリフォルニア州のアネンバーグ庭園（サニーランズ）で会談し、共同で中米新型大国関係の構築に努力するよう提起した。中米新型大国関係が内包する意義について、習主席は会談中に以下の３点にまとめて説明した。第１は衝突せず、対抗せず。第２は相互尊重。第３は協力によるウインウイン。第１点は中米新型大国関係構築に欠かせない前提である。第２点はその基本原則である。第３点はその歩むべき道筋である。

2013年6月中国国家主席习近平与美国总统奥巴马在安纳伯格庄园会晤，提出共同努力构建中美新型大国关系，关于中美新型大国关系的内涵，习主席在会晤中用三句话作了概括：一是不冲突、不对抗。二是相互尊重。三是合作共赢。不冲突对抗，是构建中美新型大国关系的必要前提。相互尊重，是构建中美新型大国关系的基本原则。合作共赢，是中美构建新型大国关系的必由之路。
Developing a new model of major power relations between China and the United States
In June 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping held meetings with United States President Barack Obama at the Annenberg Retreat in California, where he put forth the proposal of constructing a new model of major power relations between the two countries. Xi summarized the connotations of the new relationship model in three phrases during the meetings: no conflict and no confrontation, mutual respect, and win-win cooperation. “No conflict and no confrontation” is a prerequisite of the new model of major power relations between the two countries; “mutual respect” is the basic principle for this new model; and “win-win cooperation” is the only way to turn this vision into a reality.
La mise en place d’un nouveau type de relations entre les puissances chinoise et américaine
Lors de sa rencontre à Sunnylands en juin 2013 avec le président américain Barack Obama, Xi Jinping a proposé de conjuguer les efforts pour mettre en place un nouveau type de relations entre grandes puissances, qu’il résume en trois points : éviter les conflits et la confrontation ; se respecter mutuellement ; favoriser la coopération gagnant-gagnant. La non-confrontation est une condition indispensable à la mise en place de ce nouveau type de relations entre puissances. Le respect mutuel en constitue un principe fondamental et la coopération gagnant-gagnant est la seule voie possible.

En junio de 2013, en Sunnylands, en su encuentro con el presidente norteamericano Barak Obama, el presidente chino, Xi Jinping, planteó la necesidad de esforzarse juntos para estructurar un nuevo tipo de relaciones entre estos dos grandes países, cuyo contenido resumió en tres enunciados: a) no al conflicto, y no a la confrontación; b) respeto mutuo; c) cooperación y ganancia compartida. El primero es premisa necesaria para la estructuración de esas relaciones; el segundo es su principio fundamental, y el tercero es su vía ineluctable.

طرح الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ خلال لقائه بنظيره الأمريكي باراك أوباما في منتجع صني لاندز في يونيو عام 2013، مبادرة للعمل سويا على بناء نمط جديد من علاقات الدول الكبرى بين الصين والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. وقد لخص الرئيس شي محتوى النمط الجديد من علاقات الدول الكبرى بين الصين والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية خلال هذا اللقاء في ثلاث جمل: أولا، عدم الصدام وعدم المجابهة. ثانيا، الاحترام المتبادل. ثالثا، التعاون والفوز المشترك. يعد عدم الصدام والمجابهة الشرط المسبق الضروري لبناء نمط جديد من علاقات الدول الكبرى بين الصين والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. ويمثل الاحترام المتبادل المبدأَ الأساسي لبناء نمط جديد من علاقات الدول الكبرى بين الصين والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. أما التعاون والفوز المشترك فهو الطريق الوحيد المؤدي إلى بناء نمط جديد من علاقات الدول الكبرى بين الصين والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
